An eclectic, holistic approach to therapy

It’s so important to heal the whole person! Holistic therapy aims to help individuals find their mind-body connection to better understand their symptoms. When we are able to understand our symptoms/experiences, they lose power over us. And then we’re better able to navigate the road ahead. When we feel sad or happy or annoyed, where do we feel them? Maybe you feel anxiety in your stomach or anger in your chest. Focusing on these bodily sensations is a fundamental element of

Somatic Therapy.

By bringing more awareness to these sensations, thoughts or emotions and being curious about them instead of judging them, we can learn to sit with uncomfortable thoughts and feelings in a safe space.
